Earnings & trips

Pay combines a base amount per delivery with distance and demand adjustments. Customers can tip in the app when that feature goes live — tips go to you. You'll see an estimated earning before you accept each trip.

A typical delivery

Accept — review restaurant, drop-off area, and estimated pay.
Pick up — confirm order ID and sealed bags at the restaurant.
Deliver — follow in-app navigation; contact support if the customer is unreachable.
Complete — mark delivered and move to the next trip or go offline.

What you need

18 years or older with a valid South African ID or Passport
Smartphone with mobile data for the Mzansi Bites Courier app
Reliable transport (bike, scooter, or car depending on your area)
Valid driver's licence if you deliver by car or motorbike (where applicable)
Bank account in your name for weekly payouts
Proof of address and background checks as required by local regulations

How onboarding works

1. Apply below — we review within 2 business days.
2. Complete a short onboarding session online or at a local hub (documents, safety briefing, app walkthrough).
3. Go online in the Courier app and start accepting deliveries in your zone.
